Underprivileged Education Welfare Society (UEWS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming lives through education and welfare initiatives. We believe that every child, regardless of their background, deserves the opportunity to learn and thrive. Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty by providing access to quality education and essential support to underprivileged children and communities.
At UEWS, we focus on creating opportunities for those who face financial, social, or cultural barriers to education. From building schools in underserved areas to offering scholarships and school supplies, our programs ensure that no child is left behind. We also emphasize holistic development, equipping children with the skills and confidence to achieve their dreams.
Access to Schools: We build and support schools in rural and underserved areas to ensure girls have safe, accessible places to learn.
Scholarships and Supplies: We provide scholarships, school supplies, and uniforms to remove financial barriers that prevent girls from attending school.
Teacher Training: We invest in training for teachers to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for girls.
Community Engagement: We work with local communities to raise awareness about the importance of girls’ education and gain their support.
Mentorship Programs: We offer mentorship and life skills programs to help girls navigate challenges and build confidence.

Aims & Objectives
Each objective below is a standing purpose of the organisation, guiding how programmes are planned and where resources are directed.
To provide educational facilities to students for enhancement of the literacy rate, by setting up schools and colleges.
To set up technical training centres, computer study centres and a library for the general public.
To provide free education, books and uniforms to poor, needy and deserving students, and grant scholarships to intelligent and hardworking students.
To provide higher education facilities to intelligent and hardworking students.
To provide the amenities of life to the victims of natural disasters.
To provide free medical facilities for the treatment of diseases by setting up dispensaries, maternity homes and hospitals.
To provide financial assistance to the poor, widows, needy and orphans, and financial help at the time of marriage of orphans.
To create awareness for the welfare and education of women and for upholding their status in society.
How We Work
A five-stage cycle that turns community need into delivered programmes — and feeds what we learn back into the next round.

Programmes are planned according to identified needs, organisational objectives and available resources.
Activities are implemented with the support of management members and volunteers.
Activities are monitored through field visits, activity records, observations and beneficiary feedback.

UEWS is committed to improving the effectiveness of its programmes through regular monitoring and review. The organisation uses appropriate tools and methods, including:

Our Team
UEWS currently operates with the support of dedicated volunteers who contribute to administrative work, programme planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring and community engagement.
Our management and volunteers work together to ensure that organisational activities remain aligned with our mission and objectives.
Responsible Leadership
The management provides oversight of organisational activities, programme planning, implementation, monitoring and organisational development.
Senior management members, including the President and General Secretary, participate in organisational planning and review activities and visit programme areas as required to observe implementation, review progress and interact with beneficiaries.
